Our Audiologist

Daniel KIM

Daniel began his career as an audiologist in 2010, having completed his Masters of Audiology Hons at the University of Auckland. His initial workplace was the audiology department at Starship Children's Hospital and Greenlane Clinical Centre (Public Hospital - ADHB). Through close collaboration with Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) specialists, he gained valuable experience in diagnosing a range of cases and strengthened his diagnostic skills. He recognises the significance of conducting precise and suitable hearing tests to aid ENT specialists in their diagnosis.

Daniel is an MNZAS Full member Audiologist and has a keen interest in Tinnitus and Hyperacusis (noise sensitivity), and he dedicates his own time to researching the latest developments on the subject.

Having worked with numerous hearing aid manufacturers, he has developed strong relationships and gained extensive knowledge of their products. As an independent audiologist at a hearing clinic, he believes this is a critical component of being a competent audiologist.

Daniel is a skilled professional in his field and a proud father of three children. He cherishes spending time with his family and loves to travel with them.
